Post-processing table

What is Needed for Proper Post-Processing?

IPA or Ethanol
Ultrasonic cleaner
Dry heater
UV Curing station
Violation of post-processing protocols or the use of improper equipment negatively affects the physical and mechanical properties of the finished product, as well as its color.

Post-Processing Sequence of Actions

1. Washing

Wash the product no longer than the time specified in the table. First, rinse off the main layer of resin in "dirty alcohol," then complete the washing stage in "clean alcohol." Use either isopropyl alcohol (Absolute) or ethyl alcohol (at least 96%). Optionally, you can use a soft brush and an ultrasonic cleaner.

2. Heating

Temperature and duration of product heating in a drying oven. Place the product in a preheated oven. Use professional equipment with a temperature control sensor.

3. Post-Curing in a UV Chamber

Duration of exposure or the preset curing mode in the UV chamber. If a temperature is specified, curing should be performed in a chamber with heating enabled. If "in glycerin" is specified, place the model in a transparent plastic container (e.g., a cup), fill it with glycerin, and place it in the UV chamber for curing.

4. Additional heating

Some materials require additional heating after UV curing. Use the drying oven again. The table specifies the temperature and duration for heating the product in the oven. Place the product in a preheated oven.

Recommended Drying Ovens: Binder E28, Memmert UN30, Nabertherm TR 30, Falc Instruments FD Series

Recommended curing stations

Best curing results. Ensures maximum strength and consistent color quality.

Other curing stations

Achieving optimal strength and color consistency.

If your UV curing station is not listed, it means either we have not tested it, or its power is insufficient for use with our resins. We cannot guarantee results with any other UV chambers except those listed on this page. If you need assistance selecting the right equipment, please contact our technical support team.
